Course Overview
This curriculum will prepare students for both the Microsoft Office Specialist and Microsoft Office Expert exams. Courses 75022 and 75023 address the fundamental features of Word as defined by the Microsoft Office Specialist certification objectives for Word 2003 Specialist exam. Learners completing this series should be well prepared for the certification exam, and have a solid foundation in essential Word skills. Courses 75024 and 75025 map to the Microsoft Office Expert certification objectives for the Word 2003 Expert exams. Learners completing these courses should be well prepared for the certification exams, and have a solid foundation in basic Word skills. This curriculum consists of four Skill Builder courses:- 75022 Microsoft Word 2003 Fundamentals;
- 75023 Microsoft Word 2003 Proficient User;
- 75024 Microsoft Word 2003 Expert Part 1;
- 75025 Microsoft Word 2003 Expert Part 2
Microsoft Word 2003 Fundamentals
Course Overview
This series addresses the fundamental features of Word as defined by the Microsoft Office Specialist certification objectives for Word 2003 Specialist exam. Learners completing this series should be well prepared for the certification exam, and have a solid foundation in essential Word skills.

• To create a new document type from a template
• To modify a folder
• To identify options for saving different file types using the Save As dialog box
• To insert page numbers in a Word document
• To insert the date and time in a Word document
• To identify options for managing headers and footers
Audience
The target audience will range from new users to power users, although it is expected that the vast majority will have at least had some exposure to previous versions of Word. Fundamental PC and Windows skills are assumed.

Course Overview
This series addresses the fundamental features of Word as defined by the Microsoft Office Specialist certification objectives for Word 2003 Specialist exam. Learners completing this series should be well prepared for the certification exam, and have a solid foundation in essential Word skills.

• To identify options in the Insert Hyperlink dialog box
