Course Overview
The IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6 New Features Curriculum includes the courses needed to introduce the new features of Lotus Domino Designer 6. Students are introduced to the new interface and taught upgrades to the software. Developers will learn how they can enhance their presentations through an understanding of how Domino Designer 6 language enhancements operate. Learners are also introduced to the new LotusScript enhancements and to data transformation.

Course Overview
IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6 New Features Part 1 introduces the learner to the new Domino Designer 6 interface and then teaches upgrades to the software including view enhancements, icons, shared code and resources, and working with embedded elements and multiple columns

• To identify features of the Toolbar Preferences dialog box in Domino Designer 6
• To identify features of the Domino Designer 6 bookmark bar
• To specify red, green, and blue (RGB) values in a view color
• To create a profile form for users to set view colors

• To match Inviewedit parameters with their descriptions
• To create an editable view
• To set the property that enables you to create a document from within a view
Audience
The targeted audience for this curriculum includes Domino developers who currently use Domino R5 and are moving to Domino 6. Learners should be familiar with Lotus Domino designer Release 5.

Course Overview
IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6 New Features Part 2 focuses on how developers can enhance their presentations through an understanding of how Domino Designer 6 language enhancements operate. This course also teaches the new features of cascading style sheets, using third party tools, using layers, agents, and reusable code.

Course Overview
IBM Lotus Domino Designer 6 New Features Part 3 looks at the software's new LotusScript enhancements as well as converting from LotusScript to Java. Data transformation is an important new features of Domino Designer 6, and this course teaches how Domino's data transformation tools enhance designs.
