This is a two-part curriculum on Basic Telecommunications for the Certified in Convergent Network Technologies (CCNT) curriculum. The curriculum covers the hostory of telecommunications and looks at the structure of business systems and services. The course then covers analog signals, digital systems, transmission netwroks, switching and signalling. This curriculum includes the following courses:- 87501 CCNT Basic Telecommunications Part 1: Fundamentals, Analog and Digital
- 87502 CCNT Basic Telecommunications part 2: Networks, Signalling and Switching

The intended audience for this course includes anyone who wants to remain current in the data and telecommunications industries, including Network Engineers, Network Administrators, Telecommunications Technicians, Data/Internet/Telecommunications Sales Professionals, Telecom Sales Engineers, IT/Data Product Managers, and Telecom Account Managers.
